Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano dead Saturday visited three offices Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The offices are in Ekwulobia, Neni and Awkuzu.
9JASUPERSTAR gathered that the governor during a visit unconditionally granted bail to the three prisoners illegally held by the die unit.
Speaking during the exercise, the Governor Obiano said, “Police Commissioner in the state has released all those detained illegally, and everyone delivered by a court order, will remain there until their cases are determined.”
Obiano has sacked Thursday hie senior security aide, James Nwafor, previously boss of SARS in the country prior to his appointment.
He also promised to free the detained person and also ensure that Nwafor accused of killing and wounding many, brought to book.
Obiano revealed that on Monday, he will inaugurate a panel that will entertain the public petition on SARS activity in the state, adding that the panel will be headed by retired Chief Justice.
