[NWES] End SARS: Oby Ezekwesili demands Buhari’s whereabouts amid nation wide protests

Oby Ezekwesili, former minister of education, has been more silent scream President Muhammadu Buhari in the face of an ongoing national protests.

Protests calling for the scrapping of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, police units have increased despite the government’s announcement of the dissolution of the operation.

Currently, information such as bad governance ‘End in Nigeria; put an end to bad government; an end to police brutality, Justice for Jimoh Isaiq; restructuring of Nigeria; reforming the Nigeria Police Force ‘, among other trends in social media and also appeared on placards in the streets to show that the protest has gradually shifted from its original purpose.

First and last time President Buhari spoke on the ongoing protest against the brutality and extortion by officers of SARS more than a year ago and since the protests continue and should spread to almost all major cities of the country.
And tweeted on Saturday, Ezekwesili, former presidential candidate, said, “That really is the end game

“Where is the President? Which actually is the President at a time like this?
“Go where your young citizens and involve them on their own turf. These people do not retreat. ”
