Nigerian singer, Teni has opened up about why he mentioned the names of people including Dangote and Otedola in songs.

Teni Apata, known as Teni entertainer, is one singer who is often mentioned the names of prominent people in the songs.

In the past, Teni has mentioned the names of business tycoons like Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola in his songs, which makes the songs more popular and acceptable.

In a Sunday meeting with Scoop, an award-winning singer explains why he is often referred to by name in the music.

“I grew up exposed to many cultures and one important part of it is praise-singing people. I decided to combine the practice of my songs that people can relate more with them, “he said.

Teni, who won four awards at the recently held Headies, stating that won awards and toured 35 cities have been the high points of 2019 for him so far.

He added: –
