The National Bank of Nigeria has promised to endorse any business bank found storing the new naira notes, saying it had created enough for dissemination to every one of the banks the nation over.
The CBN Kano Branch Regulator, Alhaji Umar Biu, offered the comment during a sensitisation program on the new naira notes coordinated for merchants at the Sabon Gari market in Kano on Thursday.
The sensitisation program was likewise reached out to the well known Kwari Market, Wapa Agency De Change Market, Kofar Wambam market and the renowned Kurmi market in the Kano city.
He said the merchants reserve the option to report any bank found either accumulating the new naira notes or charging clients prior to saving their old naira notes.
