I would prefer to bite the dust than remain silent over uncertainty – Sacked Abuja imam
Sheik Nuhu Khalid, previous Chief Imam of Apo Legislative Quarters Central Mosque in Abuja, has promised to keep talking about the disappointment of President Muhammadu Buhari-drove Federal Government.
Khalid said he would prefer to pass on from hunger than remain silent when Nigerians are being killed under the present government.
The Islamic Research and Da’awah Foundation originator told Daily Trust: “I might as well go for broke. For this, I stand by my words. I would prefer to pass on from hunger than be peaceful when individuals are killed. Trains are gone after and streets are impeded and (there is) phlebotomy all over the place.
“I live in a neighborhood. My kids go to government funded schools, and I relate with nearby individuals. Consequently, I know the tough spot individuals of this nation are going through.”
Khalid was sacked as the Chief Imam of the Apo official quarters Juma’at mosque in Abuja since he scolded Buhari’s administration over its failure to handle frailty in the country.
