So I heard that a Port Harcourt-based clergyman, David Ibiyeomie, laid a curse on internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo boys and police officers who work with them.
According to reports, the clergyman who was preaching in his church last night, frowned at the works of the internet fraudsters. According to him, their activities have led to the death of some persons who they have scammed off all their retirement benefits.
He also frowned at traditional rulers who bestow chieftaincy titles on internet fraudsters. He said such persons should be regarded as armed robbers.
He as well, laid curses on police officers who release arrested internet fraudsters after collecting bribes from them.MY THOUGHTS:
In as much as cyber crime locally known as Yahoo Yahoo is bad and should be condemn, I don’t think any Nigerian Pastor has the right to judge or condemn them.
They are all into same line of business. Senior and junior Yahoo Boys, no difference. Senior dey run local with bible, junior dey run foreign with laptop. SAMETHING.
