Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area Anambra on Sunday gutted fire.
Confirming the incident to reporters, SP Haruna Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state command, the word “fire thought to have come from the burning bush.
“However, the extent of the damage done not yet be determined.”
Mohammed said that on receiving the report, police patrol team led by the DPO Ogidi Division dispatched to the fire and immediately contacted the Fire Service.
The PPRO also confirmed that no fewer than seven people sustained various degrees of injuries in the incident, another fire in a residential building in Onitsha.
